Welding and cutting equipment refers to welding apparatus and cutting apparatus collectively, serving as the most fundamental processing equipment in metal machining technology.
Classification of Welding Equipment:
(1) Manual arc welding equipment. Manual arc welding utilizes simple apparatus, offers flexible and adaptable methods, but demands high skill from welders. It is suitable for welding carbon steel, low-alloy steel, stainless steel, copper, and copper alloys.
(2) Submerged Arc Welding Equipment. Submerged arc welding equipment consists of a welding power source, [1] submerged arc welding machine, and auxiliary equipment. The power source can be AC, DC, or both AC/DC. Submerged arc welding machines are divided into two main categories: automatic and semi-automatic. ① Semi-automatic submerged arc welding machine. ② Automatic submerged arc welding machine.
(3) CO? Gas Shielded Arc Welding Equipment. Semi-automatic CO? gas shielded arc welding equipment primarily consists of a welding power source, gas supply system, wire feeder, and welding gun.
(4) Inert Gas Shielded Arc Welding Equipment. Manual inert gas shielded arc welding equipment comprises four main components: the welding gun, welding power source with control unit, and gas and water supply systems.
(5) Plasma arc welding equipment Plasma arc welding equipment primarily includes the welding power source, control system, welding torch, gas circuit system, and water circuit system.
